50 days to harvest. Annual. Zones 2-11. Shiny dark green leaves and crisp white edible stalks. Very mild peppery flavour. The leaves can be eaten raw in salads. The stalks and leaves can be used in stir fries, in soups, or roasted. Best grown as a cool weather crop in spring and fall.
